    Yep, I was wondering about that. I haven't felt any critical need to upgrade them. I do however need to cut the springs so I can lower the pickups a couple millimetres. As it is I'm hitting the neck pickup a little too often.

    Looks great, well done - it's a little late to help but I just finished a bass and found the same thing, there are lots of headstock templates that never quite fit to the kit (particularly the tuner holes) but you can always just use them as a guide then freehand to get it as you like it

    That looks fantastic. That colour compliments the grain really well. There's nothing better than natural finishes for mine.
