    I had the same issue on my JTL-1 very thick neck. But you will find times where you crave playing the fat neck over thinner necks. It has a particular feel that you will grow to love. I find I gravitate to that vibe from time to time over my other guitars with thinner necks.

    You can always sand the neck to the profile you want. It usually just takes some 80 grit and some care.

    Man am I envious now. That looks superb. Not so sure about the baseball bat sized neck but that can always be shaped down I suppose if you had to.

    I've just been playing my PBG TLA-1 and had forgot how chunky that neck is compared to all my other guitars (built or bought).

    I don't mind it, but it definitely takes a few minutes to adjust to the feel.
