    Looks cool. Did you do a mockup to work out the string pull through the nut?
    Build 1 - Shoegazer MK1 JMA-1
    Build 2 - The Relliecaster TL-1
    Build 3 - The Black Cherry SG AG-1
    Build 4 - The Sonicaster TL-1ish
    Build 5 - The Steampunker Bass YB-4

    umm I eye balled it and used a straight edge... Dangerous I know, but time will tell it's only pine so if I have to Dowell and re drill that's ok rookie I know!

    No all good. It looks pretty close, just something to be wary of doing custom stuff. Guitars seem so straight forward, but there are a lot of considerations and compromises.

    I did re-check after replying and I think all should be ok except maybe the G... I've set the nut so will double check once the glues dried

    It's all a learning experience. It's not like you'll be using a trem or anything so it probably won't matter too much except from a visual point of view.

    And yes! I think I will learn alot more then I anticipate during this build. The bridge placement will be the biggest one I think

    Getting my timber cut and dressed tomorrow! So keen! I will have a good 2-2 & 1/2 weeks to work on the beast whilst on my uni break. Should get the majority of the build done in that time hopefully

    Here is what will be the body can't wait!! Didn't get as much done in the last few weeks as hope due to a cold that got the whole family so will be interesting how much I get done in the next 3 months as I go back to uni next week
