A bit of maintenance before starting my build....

So that’s why the Profile T style is noisy. No to work out where I can re-solder the bridge ground without unsoldering all the other grounds. This is the rather complicated wiring my cousin did in his T style. I bough this guitar off his widow almost 22 years ago. It has served me very well all that time.

Can you fit one more wire on the large earth glob without it all coming unstuck?

What do the push-pull pots do? Series/parallel?
Mantra: No more pedals, must finish BlueyCaster...
Disclaimer: I haven't done woodwork since high school, and wasn't really paying attention at the time ...

The push-pull splits the bridge Humbucker. I don’t fully understand all the switching, I know where my favourite sounds on it are, but I think the 5 position switch handles whether the pickups are series or parallel and the three position rotary switch that replaces the tone control does series - parallel for the Humbucker, or something like that. My cousin did explain it to me once, but that was years before I got the guitar.

It may be easiest to run a ground wire direct to the output jack if you don't feel like attacking the existing wiring. Or the chassis of the rotary switch. That will be be grounded (though it's always worth checking).
