    Twin Neck Build

    Hi all,
For my second project I'm taking on a twin neck. It's a fair bit harder than the Tele build but I've always wanted one.
I've sanded and stained the body with a Walnut stain, also cut a wave in the headstock and stained the neck walnut also.
I'll upload pics once I work out how. Do I have to resize to small?

Longest side no more than 1500 pixels and just slightly less than 1meg in size. Or host elsewhere and link directly to the picture (not the page it's on).

The Tapatalk forum app does it for you, or the Windows Photo app lets you resize photos. Right click on the photo and select 'resize' (I then chose the 'custom' option to shrink the longest dimension to 1500 pixels).

Looking good. It might be the insomnia, but I had forgotten that one neck was a 12 string I don't know what I was expecting instead.

Rockin' along with the AGD-612 build folk. The necks are just about finished, I cut a wave for the headstock end. Stained "walnut" and Danish oil for gloss. Conditioned fretboard and glued in the bone nut. put on truss rod cover and installed machine heads.
Building up the layers of Danish Oil on the body.
    Looking glossy..

Hey, quick question about the wiring. Does the necks have their own volume and tone but not separate neck/bridge pickup volume?

This is the PBG wiring diagram for the kit.

    https://www.pitbullguitars.com/wp-co...12-2019-v2.pdf

So if you go by that, then yes, common volume and tone for 6-string neck and common volume and tone for the 12 string neck.

You can of course come up with your own wiring variations if you want, but it's quite hard with the limited space available.

Okay, got the pickups and switches all soldered in and working. Yes I now realise this was very ambitious for a first/second build, but wow, what a feeling when you plug in to test the pickups and they all work as they should. Necks go in tomorrow as it's now late. Here's some pics of it so far.

Thanks Simon, I left the wiring as one volume for each neck. no separate volume for bridge/neck pickups.
