Basic tools needed advice

Perhaps stupidly I have been watching heaps of videos on YouTube about guitar building and finishing which has somewhat muddled my brain ( doesn’t take much theses days)
So, could anyone please point me in the right direction?

Have you downloaded the PBG build guide? That covers all the basic tools and a more extensive tool list for more extensive work.

That's a good start from Simon.

Also, as great as it is having YT and lots of online references, it's easy to get overwhelmed by information overload.
It's hard to know what's good and bad info, or just opinion.

That's one of the great things about this community. There's a wealth of knowledge and experience here that is freely shared with no BS. (well, mostly no BS... I mean, I spew BS all the time... but anyway, enough about me... nah, just kidding )

If you read something online that you're unsure about, this is a good place to bounce it off of. Really... no BS.
