    My First Build from Fremantle

    Hi everyone.
I'm gonna document each step of my build.
I ordered on Monday and got it Tuesday. In the middle of CORVID 19 as well. Amazing.
I would love constructive advice and hope to learn as much as I can from all these good people in these forums.
I bought the basic Telecaster kit GTL-1.
I've watched some YouTube vids about painting and have got Dupli color primmer. At the moment my 17 yr old daughter is painting a design by hand(she is a very talented artist). when she is done I will put several coats of Dupli-color clear.
I have cut the headstock with an electric jigsaw similar to a Fender Tele shape.
Hoping to get a custom logo if anyone has ideas??
Sanding out all the scratches on the neck is hard work, but worth it.

    Thanks Fretworn.

Finished sanding the neck and put the first coat of Dingotone Neck Finish.
Will put another on tomorrow night.
My daughter is busy hand painting the body.

    Welcome!
Look forward to seeing the original artwork. And like Brendan said, T-style kits are great first build. You can't get much more utilitarian than the concept of a tele!
