Fender Ultra Series Body to neck shape

The Ultra series neck to body would be an interesting addition to the range. I assume there would need to be some work to avoid copyright but a great idea.

I'm attempting something similar on my tele build - will post when done

    It's not terribly difficult as a D.I.Y.

I've done it on all 3 of my Pitbull builds and a Squier Tele.

    cheers, Mark.

    Hi

doing the same with my tele build. Haven't drilled out the new hole for the reworked neck plate. Bit hard to see it as I've painted it to match the guitar - its in the first pic. Would be nice to have a cnc cut though - lot of rasping then filing then sanding but its ok now. Would have been better if I'd decided to do it before i painted it......

There are no CNC cuts on Pitbull kits. Still all done with routers, templates and hand tools at the factory. CNC would certainly be better, but I assume that it's a question of keeping people employed and low labour rates.

They'd still be better than me. Was an act of bravery to take to the body with a rasp and took a while to be happy with it...

Anyway just an idea for Pitbull to consider - if they don't think there's a demand for it they won't do it.

Now all I have to do is finish this one before I think of something else to do to it

    Regards

    David
