FNG in Cleveland , Ohio New FL build

Hey all, Rastara in Cleve, Oh starting a new build Fretless 4 J bass ash body maple neck and board. First build, good skills but will surely have a question or two. Looking forward to chatting with y'all about bass guitar stuff ( not a guitarist) and what not. Currently have a 1982 Peavey foundation that plays well, I've owned it since new, and a Schecter Stilletto extreme 4. Why FL? I don't have one and also have a 3/4 in middle finger fret hand amputation- and it sucks quite frankly. This may help. Anyway, thanks in advance

Hi and welcome.

Though I'm a guitarist, for home recording purposes I've got a couple of Peavey basses. A Cirrus BXP 4-string and an indeterminate rather Cirrus-looking late-80s 5-string that was probably a prototype (it had several 'Peavey custom shop' stickers on the back and the body finish was rather rough). Also got a Lakland Skyline Bob Glaub model (P-bass style). I too fancy a fretless bass at some point.
