    Practice pieces...

It occurs to me that the nervous (like me) might appreciate having an option for practicing with dyes, painting or whatever before starting on their kit. Would it be worth considering having as an optional (added cost) extra for the kits a roughly guitar shaped piece of veneered mdf, (ash and maple seem available over here) so that people could buy one (or more) to try out ideas before embarking on the real thing? I was looking at the price of whole sheets, and its a fair lump of money, especially if the majority of it will be cluttering up the house ("too good to throw away my love") after trying the experiments...
