    Hi gonz,
Like the colour, what does the back look like ?
Your guitar looks similar to the one that I am building (see my build log) so am interested in hearing
    how you approach your build.
Which model do you have ?
    Regards, Fatboy.

    hi fatboy
    this is the ATL-1SB
after grinding with a 240 and 380 sand paper a resin epoxy was aplyed in 2 coat espaced of 1 hours and then another sand paper 380 and coloured varnish and translucid varnish in the end different colour on each varnish coat
important thing that the epoxy is a good coat sealing

Awesome work Gonz! Did you use pigment in the resin, if yes, what type? Ps. How do you try to keep off the yellowing effect in the future?

Hello Rolf my approach is to use epoxy resin at the first pore layer
first coat epoxy resin UV traitment (surf clear or other without pigment
second coat after one hours same resin with pigment (pigment for resin only)
in 3 another layer after 1h without pigment and not a thin coat because you ll sand
this 3 layer of resin give you a really nice deap effect and then after sanding with 320 paper and 380 you can apply the PU varnish also for an UV barrier
