    Airbrush time

Busy today adding thousands of scratches to the wolfs fur (between 10 and 20 thousand scratches).

This completes the first coat. Next is a second coat that will add a bit more detail and contrast to the fur.

I have included the reference photo I used below.
I guess I am in the same wolfpack but I think mine has put a bit of weight on!

    Cheers
    Ricky

Looks great. Maybe it's winter and the extra weight is just fur

    Thanks John.

I finished the last bits of 'touch-up' yesterday and have now clear coated the back.
I will post a couple of pics later.

    Cheers

    Wow! That was not fun.

About 3 hours after my last post my chest started to tighten up.
By 10pm I could hardly breathe.
Managed to make it through the night and the next day but I was in pain and could hardly move.
As each hour went by, my wife was watching me and wanting to call the ambulance.
I managed to make it through the next 3 days and my lungs started to get a bit more air into them.

It took a full week before I could move around the house without clutching something for support.
A Covid 19 test then proved negative. A visit to the doctor who said that it must have been a "false negative" as they had quite a few form that particular test station. She then gave me a course of antibiotics for the resultant chest infection - another side effect of the virus.

I am still recovering but I am a thousand times better than I was.
My very best regards to anyone who has had or been affected by this horrible virus - it is nasty!

Anyway, I have spent the last week or so starting a Gibson 335 from scratch. I will start a separate thread on that.

Next will be back to clear coating the ES-1GT and starting the lovely job of fitting the wiring and stuff.

    Anyway, ............ I AM BACK!!!!!!

Wow. I sympathise. I've had a some friends who've had it in a very bad flu sort of way, but nothing like that. I think I've avoided it so far (but it is so varied in symptoms that you never know unless tested). Glad you are on the mend and recovering.

I sympathise heartily. I had a couple of days back in March when it felt like I was trying to breathe sand at times, and waking up in the middle of the night with no air in my lungs.
But it sounds like you've caught it a bit worse. Hope the recovery is as quick as the onset.
