From looking at the grain of the two pieces of wood you're using for the top of the guitar body, I just know that it'll come out looking great once the build-process is completed, definitely going to keep an eye on this thread for sure.

Now now lads, in keeping with the minimalist profile I prefer, the closest we may get is going to be two flush mounted stainless set screws or low head Allen bolts.

All the little jointy bits are in alignment
Just the hint of red veneer to break up the brown and black.
All I have to do now, is build a sandwich press.
