    I think deeper bevels look better. I took quite a bit off my AG-2 kit, and increased the angle a bit.
    I also think the walnut should look great.

    Hi Olisam,
    the black headstock is 1-ply black pickguard material, roughly cut to size with scissors, trimmed to fit with a craft blade, coated with a lot of layers of tru-oil.

    The logo is a disc of 3-ply pearloid pick guard, with a laser printed logo covered with packing tape. The tape was trimmed to the size of the disc. I used a fostner drill bit to cut a hole the size of the disc into the headstock. I then used superglue to build up a thick layer.

    Next time I would try to get the disc flush with the pickguard material and tru-oil them at the same time.

    Nice. The pickup ring price is eye-watering, but does save having to add extra switches to your guitar.
