Yes. it's a right-handed guitar. Bridge angle and control position confirm it.
But it's going to be impossibly neck-heavy to play.
I think it's in reference to the headstock...left handed.

How it was strung didn't worry Dick Dale ( RIP ) or Doyle Bramhall II much and I think the lefty in Air Supply also played with it strung rrrs up
Less problem with first fret fingering with the headstock as a lefty than as a righty. so that the cutaway makes more room for the main fretting fingers.
Stumbled across another one this morning.
Just need an upside down drum kit and we can form an Australian band.
