I bought one last Christmas for a 10 yo niece... I demoed it with Black Sabbath's Into The Void and it shook the rafters! (She wants to learn Disney Princess songs.... But I got mine from China (Imitation I'm sure) for about $120 US.

Probably from the same factory that made the Squier version.

I looked at those Fishbone guitars on Reverb but they are all 3/4 size. There is also the Squier Mini which is also 3/4 sized available via eBay. Undoubtedly both are more suited for a kid/child than the full adult sized crafted in Indonesia '50's fat neck Squier (by Fender) that I got.
