How are you going to finish the edge where the fabric rolls over? Some kind of piping or something?

Also to backtrack a little, I'll third the flap disc on an angle grinder as well. Just need to go slow as it will remove material very quickly.

    Keep the pics coming too!
There is how the edge looks like at the moment, there is a 1-2 mm indentation. I was hopping to build up enough clear resin that I can do a flush trim at the end.

That痴 a real cool look, I have couple of friends that have done cloth tops with great results.

Looks very nice, i vove the matial and placement. Is the edge channel deep enough to put binding on? That might be a nice way to hide the material edge.

No is not deep enough, I wish I had the router bit for binding that I could do this better, will be so much easier to hide the edge with the binding. Spend last few days redoing the edge, but not a lot of luck so far. I am on the edge of giving up and leave it as it is.

I see you are in Perth...

If you send me a PM with your contact number I'll help you with the routing channel for the binding...

Thanks for the offer, but I have no plans to do the binding for this guitar atm. Maybe in the future project.
