Taking it all apart and finishing it properly will probably be next year's project.
OH that's a whole lot tidier than mine! I must admit I'm enjoying hacking something together rather than trying to be perfect on this one, but yours is awesome!

Here's the body colour finished. A crude relic job, I washed the blue with a light meths based timber woodstain to make it green and a light sand to knock the finish off of it and give it the nice tactile feel. funnily enough I have left the neck all shiny and perfect, don't know why!

Let's just say 'interesting', I'm not guaranteeing 'good'.

OK time for a mock up. I'm happy with the cut down scratchplate and the location of the effects unit. The weathered look seems OK too.
Now I have to wire it up, copper tape and test again

A quick and dirty calc indicates about 150mA for 12 hours draw on an AA alkaline, so worst case should be 300mA if the batteries are in parallel, not series (unlikely). So you’ll be fine with the 2A output.

You’re almost there and it’s looking good.

Looking very good there, and at least you didn't have to cut all the way through the body to fit the speaker. And you have a built in effects unit.
