PBA-4 Marcel's PBG build #9

Well, I bit the bullet again. PBG build #9, 17th build overall including amps and stuff.
This PBA-4 will be my 3rd bass build. Have a PBG RCM-4F and a cheap JB build so this will hopefully round out the set

Not intending anything fancy, just a pretty straight forward build out of the kit plus a PBG bone nut. Modifications to be done later if I feel so inclined. Lets just see what I end up with first before I start throwing extra money at it

For everyone's info, the JB is incredibly bright and funky, while the RCM-4F on the mini humbucker has wicked low end through my TC Electronics BH250 into a 4x10" cab. Will be interesting to see/hear how this build lands in conparison....

Yay ! .... Postie delivered my kit....

A slightly off track post,

So my shed got invaded by the son-in-law, and he rearranged my stuff.... I can't find anything.... And my stash box of sand paper was buried beneath all these other boxes I barely recognized... One of those boxes was full of books, and for a moment my curiosity got the better of me and I looked inside....

These books are at least 30yo, and some are over 40yo.... all full of guitar TAB and proper sheet music.... I'm glad that box never got thrown out...

I remember having that book also.
I don't however remember being able to play anything from it.

It has the intro to Stairway pretty accurate.... but the bummer is the solo lead break was never included.
