Finally got a chance to finish this guitar. So now fully set up and intonated. The babicz bridge was awesomely easy to set up, really like the system. The Dingotone seems to have cured nicely ( slight flaw - next post) and really happy how the finish has turned out.
Initially it plays well and the tonerider city limits are sweet and clean and really quiet for a strat. So now restrung and settling in.

So there is a small flaw in the finish ( of my own Making) which is weird.
Had the guitar resting for two weeks with the bottom back edge sitting of the spongy non slip pads that you buy for near nothing. It has left its mark in the finish. the finish is still smooth to the touch as but the gridding of the pad shows. Almost as if there has been a reaction with the finish. Will post a demo once the guitar had settled.

    Hi Tony

I've heard that some forms of padding on the guitar stands actually do react to some finishes. Now I'm not certain of my memory (or lack of it) but I think I've seen some ads that specifically say "not to be used with nitro finish". I didn't read what you used but these things do happen.
