Arzi, you are wrong mate, this is a worthy contender for GOTM, it's a very slick looking bass.
As for the headstock, i fixed a les paul with tha totally snapped off headstock, essentially using nothing but titebond and i play it daily. i appreciate that a bass has a lot more tension on it, but a good titebond join will be stronger than the timber around it.

This is amazing. I love the curve of the top edge before the binding on the body, very unique and simply stunning.

The easiest fix for that crack is to take the hardware off, sand off the finish and grab some thin CA glue that will wick through that crack.
Slap a clamp on for ten minutes then start the re finishing.
There is always a workaround for glitches, mistakes and other Guitar building gremlins.....
looking choice Arzi but have to agree with DB, need to glue that crack in the headstock before you put string tension on.
Build it looking fantastic so far, on the home stretch and I would definitely enter it the next GOTM

I'm not the biggest fan of binding, but that looks great. I was wondering if the binding is translucent enough that if it was backed with and el strip of some kind would any light get through and whether the inverter or el strip involved would produce too much interference?

I think I'll fix this wirh a glue and think of my options. Taking off the finish at this point is a big thing for I can't get the same color for sure. Maybe I can find a way to hide the crack with some kind of decor to put on top of it...
thats a possible option Arzi. Fill the crack with CA thin glue then maybe you can put a logo over it to hide it.

Hi
Got the headstock fixed. Put some tape on sides of the crack, filled it with running superglue using a needle (drop by drop). Then popped off the ferrules and it sealed itself. Widened the holes abit to prevent it from cracking again and I'm back in action.
Soldered the wiring too and it works. Tomorrow it's stringing time...
