Looking forward to seeing this one progress. Stripping screws is always a pain in the butt.

Yeah subtle but that is what I am going for! Got some sanding to do indeed, looks like the carves are nice and smooth so I can continue with 180.
Coming along nicely Pest. Nice curves, I esp. like the one in the lower horn. Did you deal with the striped screw OK?
Current Projects
#Planning 5 String Bass
Thanks Andrew, no I have not solved my screw problem yet, I tried the classic rubber band trick and all I managed to do was rip the rubber band in half....
nice new Avatar there cuz! Next week you can change it to a bottle of tru oil to get more time in the naughty warehouse haha

Pest, if you haven't done your wiring yet hold off for the moment. I was thinking about how to do a better version of the option 1 layout and realised there's a flaw in the original one I posted (it would still work but the balance would have an impact where shouldn't). I'll draw up the revised/improved/fixed version later tonight. Sorry.
Scott.
Hey Weirdy, all I have done so far is wire up a treble bleed, that's all!
Ok so no update for a while as I had exams, but I am trying to squeeze in sanding whenever possible (screw is still stuck, BUGGA!!!) and the body is now down to 220 grit, still got a looooooong way to go in this build!
