Glooing and clamping seemed to go ok.
I watched four videos including our forum's sponsor, and made notes.
Interestingly, some tutorials seem to not care about things others deem important.
I decided to go with what I know and had on hand, and used the hide glue we have used in the past to repair double bass problems.
The benefit of this glue is that when steamed it comes apart. So if Ive made a complete pigs ear of it, I can steam it and reset it.
I just couldnt bring myself to use PVA glue. Just felt so ... wrong
The disadvantage of hide glue is it smells like the devils cleft after a game of cricket.

SO, . now I wait... and maybe on the weekend I can give it a strum!

I'm so greatful that people post photos that tell more than a thousand words would. Since I'm gluing a neck soon pics like these clarify the steps for me. Thumbs up for you and hope you got it right.

Did you get an Aussie kit to build in Finland, Arzi?

Yep. RC-4 from PBG. Pricing about the same as from EU except can't get a Ric type of kit. And this community and praises about the customer service etc finally got me to place an order. So far I'm pleased that I made this decision.

looks like you nailed setting the neck Beef, well done.
Both the E strings look directly above the poles. Can't use enough tape to protect the finish.

Yea, Wok.. I'm a klutz, tape is cheap.
Of course I got to the end and hadnt bumped anything.
