Thanks @Kane, thanks @Wokks! Wokks - no the neck is still just sitting there. I need to do a fret job before I glue it. It's my next task! I'm still waiting on a new 3-way switch and some gibson style tuners, so the neck should keep me busy until they arrive..

    cheers,
    Gav.

Oh yeah. Good choice on the pickup rings. Ties it all together nicely.

Gav, this guitar is the business! Will look fantastic with the Gibson style tuners. What 3 way switch have you gone for?

Thanks @Andrew . For the switch I've just a stock standard import 3-way toggle from Realtone. I've had real problems with the kit switches in the past so I just don't even bother these days. I much prefer them open so you can see them working (or not).

    cheers,
    Gav.

I've used those Realtone toggle switches Gav and they are excellent and easier to solder wires to !
Just make sure you finish this beast and enter it in February GOTM as I (gladly) won't be able to enter.
I'm surprised the Pest hasn't said he will be visiting Holgate with an empty LP case !
    Current Builds and status
scratch end grain pine tele - first clear coat on !
    JBA-4 - assembled - final tweaks
Telemonster double scale tele - finish tobacco burst on body and sand neck

    Completed builds
scratch oak.rose gum Jazzmaster - assembled needs setup
    MK-2 Mosrite - assembled - play in
Ash tele with Baritone neck - neck pup wiring tweaks and play in

What an extraordinary looking guitar, should be a real winner when it's done.
