It might sound like I'm talkin' shit here but honestly man, it dudes like you Wokks that make it possible for us learners to advance. It's the community that helps build these guitars just as much as the individual and I'm truly grateful for that.

    Couldn't agree more man!
I guess it turned out to be a fitting tribute to my trusty SG that I had to sell to fund this build so...yeah, that makes me happy.

No she was the real deal, a stripped back version they dubbed the "Special Faded".
Now that I've almost got my very own workshop, my dream would be to try a scratchy of the "Bladecatcher" but a neck-through, naked model, covered in Dingotone. I dunno yet, my plan was to sell the "Bladecatcher" to fund my next build but I really don't want to part with it now...lol.

nice looking SG Barge. Be hard to part with the Bladecatcher, and a scratch one next to it will look very cool.
Sounds like it was worth moving house just for a new man cave ! good work

Congrats Bargie, worthy winner. Some awesome guitars that made it very difficult to choose. Some judges attempted to abstain but discovered that was against the rules!
The quality of the first builds is so high and this has to be in some big way due to the forum and the help that is there and the shared wisdom that is recorded in the pages. This is what it takes to make our forum one of the premier forums in the world for aspiring guitar builders. Rock on!
