the clear pickguard and trem cover arrived in the mail lastnight from Pablo, thanks for that Pabs they look great and just how I pictured they would look. I decided to go for HSH configuration as DB suggested this axe should be a rocking djent axe hahah
Happy how alot of the labels are still visible under the pickguard. Trem cover is the same but will fit that during assembly and leave the protective paper on that.
Also thinking of using neck screw bushes and leaving the neck plate off.
Found these humbuckers in my stash, no idea where they are from but neck measured 11.6k resistance and bridge 11.8k, versus about 4.3k for the middle single stock PBG. Might have to replace the neck pup with a mini bucker.
Anyway will continue with the clear coats, some of the stickers aren't taking the clear too well, trying to get a nice thick glossy finish over the labels to smooth it all off,
I will also order some black vol/tone knobs and switch tip

Love the look of the guitar, i was going to do similar after working on a guitar and putting beer labels on the beer fridge, only i was going to cover the pickguard as well.
That clear guard is a ripper, nice job overall
cheers Tony, once again Pablo has cut me a cool pickguard and trem cover.
This is the first prototype and the 2 other ones I'm building have improved. Would be much easier to do this on a square edged body

Will be good to see the other prototypes.
I am also toying with the idea of using some of my photos, either as a montage or try and lay a whole picture on the guitar body.
Photography is one of my other hobbies, goes with metal detecting and homebrewing and music![]()
Nice Job Woks, would be a pain to try and get those labels flat. Would a resin style clear be thicker and even it out a bit?
