    It is a pick- I am teaching him both pick and fingerstyle from day one.

    It took me years to get used to playing with a pick. I now use a thumbpick when playing so I can switch between the two.

    Agreed - still find it hard to go to a pick - much rather the feel of the strings on my fingers!
