I can draw up the layouts if you want (when i get time) and you can mull over what will work for you. Let me know.
Weirdy...Scott....thanks for your reply....and also your continuing commitment to help everybody with diagrams. You are gold mate. 😀

So.....the four pole...on on on switch would obviously be the pickup selector. All four pickups wired to this switch....then the standard switch would select which neck is in play....nice.

    No compromises?

Honestly....like a kid before Xmas......all keen and eager to buy one and get at her. 😀

As it is almost February the next few months should pass equally as fast.

Sadly G.A.S. and boyish impatience has bitten. On payday Tuesday 28 February Ozz will be ordering one of these.....

    http://www.pitbullguitars.com/shop/g...forum-special/

The build room is empty....nothing being repaired....17 axes are complete and playable....my hands are holding sandpaper just to remain calm.

The Big Girl may have to wait until tax time. (Sad face.)

I am thinking that the ESB-4 reminds me of a sandwich in profile. But, how about I put the filling on the outside and the bread in the middle. Hmmmm. A Jamm Sannich....I think Raspberry Jam on a single piece of Amber coloured bread. Mmmmm. So red on top and bottom with yellow/amber colour around the sides.

    Wish me luck. 😀😎

I sketched out those wiring diagrams for the BG on paper the other day. Once I get some time I'll draw them up properly on the computer and post them here so you're ready to go when you eventually pull the trigger. Good luck with ESB-4 in the meantime.
    Scott.

    Scott,

Thanks for the work on the electronics. Sadly the BG will have to wait a little.....but my hands are keen to go on another Bass build.

Hi Ozzie, mate I'd reckon wait a few more weeks as the $56 difference in kit prices makes the Behemoth an absolute bargain.

Suggest checking out some of the build threads on those hollow bodies as most have had no end of drama with the dumb 3 point bridge eventually lifting off the body with no easy fix solution. For that reason alone I personally would never build that axe unless of course you just want to hang it on the wall and play occasionally.

Oh Waz don't be the voice of reason and make me wait.

    Bugger you are correct though.

I hate having nothing on the build....hmmm....well I have until 28th to make up my mind. See how I go. Thanks for the advice though. 😀

At least take a few days to think about it.... Or sell something other than your soul...
Although I really like the Jam Sammich idea...
Kept thinking about it over my Morning Toast....Click image for larger version.
