Thankfully no harm done and the traction control button gets left alone now.
Lucky boy, those things are gonna be collectors items soon, hold on to it, and your pants..lol

I'm really intrigued to see how the coloured neck turns out under the TO. I was considering doing something similar to the FrankenWashie but the Maple in the neck came up so smooth and clean that I just couldn't do it. It's an idea that I might apply to the SV-1 that I have yet to start on though, will watch with interest.

@DB, I pledge that I will not, and have never used TO and if I was present when it was used I did not inhale.
Ok, so i dont get entry into the NW, but i have got pics of first coat of oil on the neck... will post now.
So ive yet to be addicted to TO!

Ok, so as i said i played naughty and decided to try a new product, its an oil but also a rubbing finish that contains poly.
Upside it dries in 3-4 hours so great for fast recoating.
After the finish coats, 3 or 4 you can buff and polish it.

The blue has turned out a bit teal so i may slightly change the blue on the body to reflect the teal colour on the neck.

Sanded down the filler on the body, first with 320 and finished it off with 400 grit. I applied another coat of sealer to seal the filler and build up the coat where i had to sand nearly to bare.

Cheers mate, it will be awhile before the blue goes on, a coat of black next then i think i might restain the neck again, not happy with the finish, a bit patchy on the back of the headstock, must of been a slightly porus area that suched up the stain leaving a darker patch.
