Hey Dedman, I'm starting to lean to your way of thinking. I was going for simplicity, but I don't want to sacrifice good tones. I already have the first pull-push pot, so it looks like I need to order more stuff from realparts to justify the postage

Yeah, they seem to charge a fair whack for postage no matter how big or small the package. For instance last night I ordered a replacement Telecaster bridge and standard postage was $7.90 or for express was only $2 more for a small parcel to travel less than 15km's? I went the express as snail mail still takes 3 - 5 days even though we are in almost adjoining suburbs.

$8 postage for a $12 pot. I can understand that they need to charge that to post things here, we are hundreds of kms from anywhere important, but I still want to make it count. I have everything for these builds already, any suggestions on something I might need for a future build?

nice pickups Andrew, where did you order them from ? They are different to my Dark Stars in an EXA-1 build, they don't look like they are from PBG. Lots of wiring options what are you thinking just split coil both humbuckers ?

Hey Wokka, they are the Entwistle Dark Star ND-B pickups from PBG. I noticed they look slightly different from the picture on the website, but I'm buying them for the sound and don't mind the new look.

Looks like new cosmetics and packaging as the wiring instructions were on the shiny outside cardboard part on mine. The fold out paper instructions are similar to what you get in Tone Riders.

Have Thursday as RDO and will bang out and post some rough notes for you to hear the different sounds that can be achieved from coil splitting individually.

Endtwistle have been rebranding. Looks like they'll be killer pups though!

Hey Waz, get your Tele sorted first, I'll be using your setup no matter how it sounds (on your recomendation). Besides, I may need your info on intonation when the time comes to set up my Tele.
