    Nah it’s not, the Black is a brand called RIT and the purple is a brand called folkart. They’re both fabric dyes by trade but work great on timber!

    throwing the JB4-A Bass in the gotm ring, been a real good experience, thanks to all you forumites for many learnings!

    finish;
    ebony timbermate
    craftsman pigmented stain (nitrocellulose-based stain) 'tinted' with green /blue tinters by hand
    wattyl rediseal nitro sealer 'toned' with green/blue tints sprayed
    wattyl Stylwood pre-cat nitro lacquer sprayed
    back of neck/headstock is just sealer and clear coats

    hardware;
    used all the stock PBG kit parts
    great fun building and now playining this kit - cheers all!

    I just had a look back over this months entries.

    I am glad I am not a judge this month, the field is pretty outstanding.

    Good luck all. I was going to name my favourite.. but I honestly cannot pick one right now.
