Awesome GOTM entries everyone and good luck judges in picking a winner! It was nearly 12 entries to judge but I cannot seem to move along finish curing times during the winter...

What a stunning field of axes, a beautiful job by all. Poor judges.

Really cool builds, with some imaginative custom work.

I wish these kind of geetars ended up on stage and not just black strats and Pee basses.

    Great work guys.

Ok, sorry again for the delay.

    In submission order...

'Amazing attention to details - love the chinese style ferrules, but would have loved to see that repeated elsewhere - that said, its stunning!'
'Sleek, nice upgrades and wiring mod. A no nonsense guitar. Tasty colour'

    2. TomL’s Dexter inspired IC-1
    http://www.buildyourownguitar.com.au...3&d=1433739676

'Fantastic - love the vision and how it has become real. Nicely done and an effective outcome. Only thing missing is a logo!'
'Great job on the mirror inlays. Blood spatter effect hides your hard work a little too much for me. Well done.'

    3. Patto’s GR-1SF
    http://www.buildyourownguitar.com.au...1&d=1434094103

'Nicely done. Attention to detail down to the rosewood truss rod cover. All up a great build.'
'Blue looks good on this, only detraction is the visible wiring through the f-hole.'

    4. Rocmof’s ST-1 Shadow’s Tribute
    http://www.buildyourownguitar.com.au...0&d=1434364581

'Well done - overall a really nice build and executed well'
'Well done, looks like it could be a factory build. Hank would be proud.'

    5. Matney’s ST-1 (STA-1?)
    http://www.buildyourownguitar.com.au...0&d=1434786443

'I like the new backplate. Otherwise credible effort'
'Grain came up nicely. Like the timber pickguard and trem cover, nice touch.'

    6. idklin86’s IB-5
    http://www.buildyourownguitar.com.au...9&d=1434793019

'Nicely done - the IB-5 comes alive under that stain. Love the use of the logos in the body and headstock as well.'
'Bold grain on this, looks great. Would've been better if the dark stain followed the body curve more evenly.'

    7. ScoopD’s ST-1
    http://www.buildyourownguitar.com.au...0&d=1434866093

'Classic, elegant and done! Great work!'
'Very tidy. Grain and overall finish spot on, pity you rubbed off part of your logo.'

    8. Davyson’s LP-1SS
    http://www.buildyourownguitar.com.au...7&d=1434875618

'Spalted cap came up fantastic. I like the detail with the coins, nice touch. Gold hardware suits the finish.'
'Amazing attention to details - love the chinese style ferrules, but would have loved to see that repeated elsewhere - that said, its stunning!'

    9. Wokka’s LP-1P
    http://www.buildyourownguitar.com.au...8&d=1435476997

'Well put together as usual. Get the impression the photos don't do the colour justice, otherwise very nice.'
    'Wokks, nice again!'

    10. Dr Jay’s FB-1
    http://www.buildyourownguitar.com.au...1&d=1435659081

'Some neat mods here! Cool way to get a really original guitar.'
'That's unique. Like the character touches, the copper and brass makes it kind of steampunk in a way. Nicely done.'

    11. Psalo’s IB-6S
    http://www.buildyourownguitar.com.au/forum/attachment.php?attachmentid=3855&d=1435659509

'Sweet colour Psalo - beautiful outcome - hope it plays as sweet as it looks!'
'Very well put together. Subtle flaming and colour work well. Maybe could have stained the end of the neck to match the body, unless the contrast is what you were going for. Great job.'

    And the Winner is....
