This is looking really good! Silverburst anything is awesome, but silverbust + Explorer shape = pure awesome.

Looking very slinky now, pity about the interruption with shifting house - that bites.
Silver & black appeals to me greatly, can't wait to see the next lot of pics . . .

So progress has been a little slow lately with moving house and going away for a week but the guitar is pretty much on the home stretch. Neck and the back of the head stock at done and polished, the front just needs the decal applied. Question about applying this. A white backing then the colour to be placed on top. Any tips for lining them up? Both are on clear paper but the guy said th colours at translucent so they need a white layer to go down first.

For the body, the back and sides are done, starting to really shine.
A fe issues though. When I put the bridge in it chipped some of the paint around the post holes. The bridge covers it so no huge biggie. Other thing is the saddles are really tight to get over the posts. Just means if I even have to remove it I have to unscrew the whole assembly.

Shielding is done also, just want to get the neck glued before I finish the electrics.
