Still a relatively new model... you guys are the guinea pigs/canaries.
If you stop squeaking we know to stay away.
Scott.
You could be reading it the wrong way up and it's number 001.
Looking good.
Have you mounted your neck yet? Mine seems to fit really well into the body, but it has a slight angle on the top and wondering if that is by design or if I have to seat it better with some more sanding.

Is this something that maybe compensates with an angle for the higher bridge? Any thoughts would be appreciated!

I wouldn't worry about it until the strings and bridge go on. You don't want to fix a problem that's not a problem yet. Mine was tight and exactly level with the neck pickup seated all the way down...i mean EXACTLY level. Looked planned that way to me although it seems low because the bridge is tall. On a dry fit looking down the neck to the nut from the bridge everything looked good..radius etc.

The neck can always be shimmed later to adjust the angle. I wouldn't sand because it's not reversible

Have to agree with the wait & see approach. Neck break angle and dropping height in neck pocket are just a couple of things that may be affected too much by tinkering.

Clamp the neck in place so that you can then sit the bridge on the top and run a long straight along the frets. The bottom of the straight edge should finish up a couple of mm below the top of the bridge saddle (allowing for some height adjustment of the saddle).
You don't want to have to set the saddle too high so there's only a couple of mm of thread holding it in place. Ideally just enough so the top of the threads are just below the top of the saddle. If it looks way out, then you'll need to use a shim. But that can be all sorted when you're finally putting the bass together.
