good stuff Brokin looks great. If there is some nice flame maple under the pickguard between the 2 pups I would trim the pickguard. That's what I did on mine

Hand crafting guitars, because Death Rays are expensive.
thanks guys. it came up well very happy with my first build. definately have the bug for it now. i have to save me dollars so i can get another one. alot of fun.
one thing i wanted ask. i use the guitar with distortion of course and im having a feed back issue through the amp full tube amp. my other guitar (PRS se) doesnt have this issue when using the same set up on the amp. i have read into it and the comments are turn down the volume or distortion but when i turn it down enough to stop the feeback i loose the grunt. i noticed there is a capacitor resistor upgrade which may help. https://www.pitbullguitars.com/shop/...elity-upgrade/
but not sure. any advice guys? would a pickup upgrade help as im only using the standard ones in the kit.
Hey Brokin, I'd say new pickups that are wax potted will help your feedback issues. How far are the pickups to the strings ? If they are too far (like more than 3mm) you are probably turning up the amp to compensate the volume.
Some forumites have wax potted their PBG pickups and it has reduced the feedback. Best solution would be to save up for some better quality pickups

thanks again wokkaboy. i was looking at the tonerider rocksong pickups. has anyone tried them before?
yes I've tried rocksongs on 2 builds I think and I thoroughly recommend them. Nice clean tones to crisp overdriven sounds

nice. sounds like the ones to get. one more question hll. have you tried the Tonerider Octane Alnico 8 Bridge Humbucker – Black
Hi Brokin, no I haven't but am keen to try, they sound super hot. Zeromick on the forum did a demo, have a search for that in a 1 pickup strat build.
