next build sounds great Slayer, you can't beat a spalted veneer. Remember when sanding the cap wear a dust mask, last week DB posted a thread about timbers that were bad for the lungs

NO doubt you've already seen plenty of comments about the LP-1S, but just remember, the veneer is stupidly thin, so take it very careful when it comes to sanding it.

Ciao intendevo i pickups compresi nel kit,tu metti quelli di seymor duncan quindi quelli compresi nel kit non sono di buona qualità? Questo chiedevo,forse sceglierò tra quelli disponibili nello shop,anche se non saprei quali.
Ma poi la finisci con smalto alla Nitro? che sembra sia quella che dona più bello effetto finale!
They work, but like most pickups that come with low-price guitars, they can be improved upon. You don't have to spend too much to make a big difference in sound quality, which is why a lot of people use the Tonerider pickups. You could always start out with the kit pickups and upgrade afterwards if you wanted to, as it's not hard to change pickups on a Les Paul style guitar (though harder on a 335-style).
