OK 3 months sanding, staining, finishing and polishing is enough for anyone .... and it has been a real exercise in patience.
Body finished with a light sand using 1200 grit, a prelim polish with Meguiars, a good dose of Dingo wax, and a few more polishes with Meguiars ultimate to finish it off. Great semi-gloss finish. Quite shiny in the right light. Happy.
Time to brush upon soldering next ....

Thanks. I think I got really lucky with this kit. Nice veneer, I managed to find more patience than I usually have, and after assembly it kind of just set up as easy ! Plays like a dream.
