    Headstock color progress.
I thought it was coming along well and about ready to top coat until on this photo I just noticed it seems like their is dog hair or some nuisance fluff caught in the top segment.... Better look at that again later.
On a light note, my missus thinks the orange looks great but wasn't impressed that I had painted the fretboard a horrible green which didn't go at all.... (I had to explain it was masking tape and why...) haha

Unfortunately it's a non-PBG Wokka. I was shortly going to buy an FVB from pitbull, but then by chance I saw an unfinished SG 6 string kit going on Ebay for $100 and thought it was too good to pass up! Basically it's had the neck glued to the body (hopefully done well! also a pain as it hasn't been sanded) Otherwise it's an untouched kit someone's getting rid of.
THEN I will buy the FVB for the bass collection

sounds good Cade, keen to see pics of the new SG kit, has it got flame maple veneer on the body ?
Yeah hope the neck has been glued nicely and in line with the bridge/strings placement.

Going to be a bit of a loss if it's shonky but that's the risk of buying through that site I guess! I didn't think I should start a full build diary on the forum as a non-PBG but it couldn't hurt to drop the occasional photo in this thread I suppose?
No flame / veneer or anything exciting to my knowledge. From the basic photo I could see and description its a solid white poplar body and neck. So I thought I would experiment adding some bright dye colour over it being a very light looking wood.

sounds like worth the risk for $100 Cade. You can do a build diary in the non PBG gear section no problem, up to you.
    Plans sound good.

Thanks mate. I'd be keen to share especially as I'll be needing some opinions and advice on the curveballs from that one most likely, so I might set that up later.
