BSB that really is lovely, not a fan of the Tele/Broadcaster style per se, but a big fan of natural woodgrain. Lovely job, well done!

Hi, I'm building a similar guitar, I would like to know did you apply anything to the fretboard? Oil, stain, clear??? Or did you leave it natural?
    Cheers!

    Here Stratto ,

I applied two very thin coats of Tru-Oil and that is all.....
As i am playing it, it is starting to colour and darken on the grain boundaries of the fretboard with looks spectacular....Click image for larger version.

Hi Stratto, I prefer not to put any clear over the fingerboard. Order some Dingowax or get some orange oil or Dr Ducks axe wax.
Tru oil will wear off pretty quickly the more the axe is played
    Current Builds and status
scratch end grain pine tele - first clear coat on !
    JBA-4 - assembled - final tweaks
Telemonster double scale tele - finish tobacco burst on body and sand neck

    Completed builds
scratch oak.rose gum Jazzmaster - assembled needs setup
    MK-2 Mosrite - assembled - play in
Ash tele with Baritone neck - neck pup wiring tweaks and play in

Can you use Lemon Oil as opposed to Orange Oil.....they are both citrus after all.....and i use lemon oil on rosewood fretboards i have.

I have used pure (sweet?) almond oil for maple fretboard. You can get cheap from a whole food /vitamin shop/ chemist. Cheap as chips
