I've got 3 coats of true oil on and things are starting to look shiny and the amberness (that's a word isn't it) of the true oil took the edge off the yellow stain which has made me slightly happier.

Thanks for the kind words guys.
I'll dig this one out again, it has been a while due to being busy, the heat over summer and a touch of laziness. Today I solder the electronics and gave them a test, I'll be using the old humbuckers out of my epiphone les paul custom.
