So, that black is just the toner from a normal laser printer transferred from the plastic acetate sheet to the wood?? I used acetate sheets back in the day for overhead transparencies, but the toner seemed to stick to them and didn't come off? Any trick to this - could you explain further?

    Cheers,
    Gav.

Mate it's an inkjet. Maybe the laser jet ink dries on acetate, not too sure. This was printed with a scrappy $30 Canon inkjet printer.

Nick, it is just a font I found mate, I'm not that clever
Wokks, yeah Mate, 2k out of a .8 touch up gun.

He's probably already sacrificed the goat to the gods of unearthly guitars for the finish. :P

Digging this build man. Reminds me of the really early Ibanez RGs in the 80s.

Yeah matenits my turn to pretend I'm a luthier today. Maybe one day I'll get then hang of things. About the logo, I kind of like that it goes over the join. Preferences I guess. I've got some clear water slide paper coming hopefully this week which I'll take to my printer and see if he can print white on it. His printer does white but it's a large format sign writing thing and he doesn't know how it'd go printing a4.

Very creative with the Label there Andrew, Another way to do it a little differently is to reverse print onto normal a4 paper with a laser printer , then use the wife's (partner...mum boyfriends etc) cloths iron on a lowish setting, place the printed side down and iron it onto the wood. I used to do that with balsa wood for making out wing ribs etc. A similar method is also used to make custom printed circuit boards before you etch them. (that is for home made circuit boards.. before home CNC became affordable..)
