expected it would cost more than $980 without the discount

Was due to arrive yesterday, but didn't. Phone Hare and Forbes today to find out where it is. They don't know...They called the delivery service and they don't know....Starting to suspect DB may have intercepted my shipment... just kidding...put the pliers down...DB!

So when it finally arrives we will be able to try it out , but according to the info. I got it works extremely well with guitar body shaping...and that was pretty much all I want! Have invited Phil to bring his guitar bodies around this weekend to give it a run. I have some Adirondack braces to cut. Very soft wood, so I don't expect that this will be any problem for the 2HP motor this thing has!

...might also be worthwhile putting an ambo service on call in the driveway when we fire it up! Visions of Tim Allen come to mind of this potentially being 'overkill'!

Yeah! I paid $801-90 for the Band Saw but the sales slip showed a much higher figure because someone added a Bobbin Sander as well as a whole bunch of other cool stuff.....

...that's my story and I'm sticking to it, I really should have heeded DB's warning and made sure I was supervised when I went in to Hare and Forbes.

Really enjoying the bandsaw that arrived at mine this morning.... Thanks Gav!

BWAHAHAHAHA.... Seriously though, has it arrived yet?

There is always a workaround for glitches, mistakes and other Guitar building gremlins.....

Wish that this was true Wokka, regrettably no-one seems to know what has happened and short of making a bunch of excuses and blaming the delivery service Hare and Forbes don't seem to appreciate that this level of "F-All customer service" is not the way to endear themselves to a first-time customer....
