Hey Woks, just a standard 3 way switch. Mod is like this one so when you roll back volume the tone does not die a sad death.

RE: Pickguard, this has been a bit of a pain. I have 2x USA f*r pickguards in my stock (one black, one white) where it sits closer to the bridge but everything else is way out of whack. Went back to the kit supplied as it just lines up overall better. Down the track I really need to cut a custom one for this.

I do like the Wilkinson bridge, I've got one on my H-H Tele that I posted pics of a few months ago.

ah ok nice one. I like the look of the Wilkinson bridge. The gap between the bridge and pickguard looked a bit much but all good.
What is the volume mod you did ?
Have you installed a 4 way switch for the mod ?

Hey Woks, I had a bit of a go on this axe last night and homed in the intonation. The bridge could have actually benefited from going in the other direction by about 4mm but still good for intonation. The 3 saddle compensated Wilkinson bridge I have used appears to be quite short compared to say, a modern Tele bridge.

ah ok Andrew so the length of the Wilkinson bridge plate is shorter. Looks like the saddles have plenty of movement so won't be a problem intonating.

Nearly done.. Moved the bridge north. Electrics complete. Sounds very nice. Honed in the intonation, neck relief, nut and action. Plays like melting butter and very comfy with tummy and arm cut. Just need to decal, polish up, trim the nut a bit and locate a couple of screws for the USA input jack socket that disappeared into a worm hole last night...
