Nice job here Jacob, I love the black on green and your finish is top notch. Bonus points for that headstock shape too!
First time builder? More like a seasoned pro!

Hey Jacob, Great work man - I'm not usually a green guitar man myself but you've certainly nailed it with this axe!

If this was your first build, the other "seasoned vets" around here better watch out!

Wait a minute ... that sounds like Rock and/or Roll!

SG-1 ... "Little Miss" finished in Flamenco Cherry Wudtone
TL-1A ... "Slugger" finished in Antique White Nitro
EX-1 ... "Metal God" finished in nickel-plate (work in progress)
ST-1A ... "Scrapper" stained and finished in linseed oil ... and with the "secret weapon"
GR-1SF ... "Rocker-billy" (just arrived, work in progress)

Been really impressed with the standard of finishes on the guitars so far, this is great cause it gives me a benchmark standard to aim for in my builds, cheers.

thats a stunner Peter well done for a first build you nailed it. What is the bridge and pickups you used ? Would love to hear a sound demo. Is it the stock plastic nut ?

The nut is standard so are the pick ups the bridge I got from Ebay advertised has Gold Music Man OLP Style Bass bridge BB-MM4-G.
It's far better than the one you get in the kit because the saddles screws are longer. I was thinking of doing a sound demo maybe in a week or so. I've played it at a gig and was very impressed with it. So now it's going to be my main Bass. There is nothing better than playing something that you have made. Love Love Love it.

nice one Peter, so you must have got an extra pickup in your kit as they come with only one standard.
You're correct there's nothing more satisfying than playing an instrument that you built !
So if you have a 3 way switch what do the 4 control knobs do ?
You did a great job of the headstock logo too
