I've always loved the aesthetics of the DCs but I just can't handle how they sit when playing. It's a shame because they're so pretty.
Have to agree, but I find I have that problem with guitars that have an "arched" top. I played guitars like that for 15 years (Les Paul copy, Hohner SG Lion) end up with left shoulder issue from the way they push your fretting arm back. Since I swapped to Teles, or other guitars that hang on the body n a similar way (Danelectro U2) I've had no problems.
    Current:
    GTH-1

    Completed:
    AST-1FB
First Act ME276 (resurrected curb-side find)
    ES-5V
    Scratchie lapsteel
    Custom ST-1 12 String
    JBA-4
    TL-1TB
    Scratch Lapsteel
    Meinl DIY Cajon
    Cigar Box lap steel

    Wishing:
    Baritone
Open D/Standard Double 6 twin neck

Well, after languishing on my bench forever and a day, I've finally got the neck leveled on the Jnr and the strings on. Unfortunately, it looks like she needs a shim. Bugger.

looking excellent Gav, at least its a bolt on so a shim should be straight forward. Is the string action too low or too high ?
Was this Dingotone butterscotch stain ? You probably stained this before it was released I'm guessing

It was elbow and wrist for me. That's the main reason I got rid of my Gretsch. My first electric at 12 was a Tele. All these years later I've returned to them. Even my new acoustic/electric is like my Tele.
I do love the way the the DC Jnr hung off me on stage though.

And your DC is sweet looking Gav. Well done.

Thanks @Wokka & @Rob. Wokka - it's Wudtone Butterscotch. No Dingotone around when I started this beastie unfortunately!

    cheers,
    Gav.
