Not bad at all. The first coat will probably sink in a fair bit as it dries, but I'd certainly add a couple more coats before you start to think about some sanding down.
That's looking great! I really like the burst and the way the colour has come on with the clear. Great job PeterSik!

well.. watchin paint dry sure is boring.. so i decided to go ahead and make my headstock logo.. i had already made a design and printed it so it was a question of transferring it to wood.. this is what i came up with..
once it's all dry i'll sand it flush with the rest.. should be a bit tighter then..

good question.. i don't really see a way to shield a hollow body.. could try wrapping all hot leads in conductive sheath but other than that... idk
at least for now no additional shielding.. if it bothers me i may take the electricks out to shield em.. we'll see
btw... the headstock logo.. that's just my initials with some batwings.. cuz i like em![]()
