Please feel free to correct me if I'm totally wrong.
Yep, any scale/mode with a Minor Third will have the Bb. Aeolian, Phrygian, Locrian, Melodic/Harmonic Minor.

I was referring to key of the piece though in the last post

Cheers, it's good to know that I'm getting better with my music theory, one thing I've learned is that you don't necessarily have to start a scale off with it's root note, you can start it with any of the other notes in the scale and it should work musically, that was a big eye-opener for me, when I put together pieces of music in FL Studio, I'm always working with music theory.

When BG has the backing track ready , I'll take names for those who are interested then break down the track into phrases and work out a way to give everyone equal time. If we get too many takers I'll get him to extend the track to accomodate .
I think the easiest way it to allocation a timeframe in the track (was or you nominate the bit you want) and do it that way.
Remember this is for fun, I'm no player but I'll be in. It's not a competition, there are no votes for best player, just do what you can and enjoy

I'm really interested to hear what everyone does within their allotted timeframe, would be interesting to hear everyone's different styles and approaches.

Yep super fun and interesting. Will be interesting to see if some go a more simplified route and if others get very technical, really looking forward to the results

Should be a giggle, I reckon!!

Let me know what PBG can do to help this along, sounds like a lot of fun.

    It's almost ready!

All things being equal I should have it uploaded by the weekend. I'll have (hopefully) two versions to peruse- one with my ludicrous soloing and a blank one with just the rhythm section.

My plan is to upload an mp3 track most likely through a soundcloud link and hopefully you can take it from there. 😊😊
