    Thanx man! The front is still only base coated with pencil drawings on hehe, want to finish the back up to 3 coats clear so we don't mess with it when she's painting the front The dot inlays will be orange to fit the neck! Got them off e-bay for cheap out of China hehe.

    Even in schmik and shiny condition those were hard to love. It looked like they gave it to a chop shop to graft parts on. Like Torana SLR 5000's with those god awful bolt on kits

    scratch end grain pine tele - first clear coat on !
    JBA-4 - assembled - final tweaks
    Telemonster double scale tele - finish tobacco burst on body and sand neck

    Completed builds
    scratch oak.rose gum Jazzmaster - assembled needs setup
    MK-2 Mosrite - assembled - play in
    Ash tele with Baritone neck - neck pup wiring tweaks and play in

    hey Franken I'm a big fan of the SLR5000 Torrys reckon they look tough. Brocky won Bathurst in 1979 in an A9X by 6 laps !

    Woks mate, to each their own eh? I've always disliked the way that those A9X's and the SLR's looked, its like an afterthought. I'd like to see someone with some photoshop skills take a photo of one and eliminate all of the bolt heads and plastic beading and see how it looks. I reckon it'd be a remarkable improvement.

    In a more build related query, how close a match are your New dot markers to the General Lee Orange for the face of the guitar?
