good stuff Ben, an ash tray style bridge, that will look hot.
I'd put the kit bridge pup in and do a mock build and please post distance nut to centre of 12th fret and centre of 12th fret to both E saddles.
Worth checking if you need to route the bridge pup cavity further north
I love the service at Realtone too, if I order morning on a weekday usually receive the parcel 2 days later to Perth if using express post !

Definitely going to have to do something. Looks like it is shorter than the stock bridge.

Wokka, 316mm nut to middle of the 12th. 330mm from centre of 12th to the saddles.

Here's a pic to show how it sits compared to the PBG bridge.

What measurement should I be looking for?

You can see in this pic I will have to fill the holes unless I can move the bridge back slightly.

Ben, you mean the bridge plate of the Wilkinson is shorter than the PBG plate ? If so there will be a bigger gap between pickguard and plate so you will definitely need to route the bridge pup a bit more forward.

Headstock looks great, you don't muck around, did you have to go out and buy a set of files or did you already have them ?

Yes, the bridge is a good 10mm shorter. I will mock build and measure again.

And yes, I went and bought a set of second cut files. I thought I may as well, I already have the guitar building bug, will probably get another kit whilst this one is curing in the finishing stages.

The files worked a treat and great tip from you. This forum is friggin awesome. The help so far, I really appreciate. Makes it more fun knowing help is just a post away.

Hi Ben, no worries the forum is here to help and trying to give advice so you don't make the same mistakes I have made learning !
that bridge plate is quite a bit shorter.
You should be measuring front of nut to 12th fret should be about 313/314mm - half of 24.75" scale = 314mm.

Wind the low E saddle as far forward as you can, it needs to be in the 317mm area to 12th fret, which I don't think you have the thread to go that far forward. Looks like the bridge plate will have to come forward at least 5mm, unless you can get longer saddle screws so the saddles are closer to the nut.
High E string will need to be about 314mm from the 12th fret

Oh okay. I think I will just move it forward close the gap between the scratch guard and the bridge. I will just have to work out how to fill those holes, they're going to be ugly.

Even the original bridge would struggle without being moved.

Ben I had a thought, the PBG bridge saddle screws look a bit longer, see if the thread is the same and put the screws into the Wilkinson bridge and see if you can get around the 314-317mm range to 12th fret - high and low E respectively
