Here I was thinking I was having these great colour ideas, and you guys beat me to it! Great minds think alike

  4. #34
They're different enough and still great ideas (I think so anyway).

Mine's going to have chrome hardware on it, maybe that will set it apart a little.

    IB-5 - was finished, considering re-finishing body
    IB-6S - done.
JR-1M - dressing frets and electronics build
ST-1 - still wondering how to install a tremelo
Telebass - non-PBG from parts buiild - painting body

  5. #35
That should be different enough, I'm just sticking with the black

What style bridge are you going to be using?

Also, shielding the pickup and control cavities... Will Aluminium Tape do the trick? That's all I can find nearby, and I'd prefer to be able to buy it in person and get it immediately rather than buy the copper and wait for it to be shipped all the way over to ACT...

You could try this or this.

Brett, copper shielding would be better, you can get slug barrier tape from the big green shed is cheap

I've not tried it but others have had success with it

EDIT Weirdy you beat me to it by 1 minute

PS heard Masters may be closing down they are losing hundreds of millions, I bet DB is really sympathetic hahha
